Who am I?

I am an architect working across housing, public landscape and interiors. I studied architecture and have practised since, building a small body of work made mostly of houses, competition entries and interior conversions.

The studio is small on purpose. I take on a few projects at a time so that every drawing that leaves the office has been checked by hand against the site.

Work usually begins with a long look at what is already there — the ground, the light, the way people already move through a place — and ends only when the building feels like it could not have been otherwise.

I also keep an investigations notebook: drawings, studies and reading that sit outside any commission but feed all of them.
