Expansion of a recreational park

The urban recreational park expansion transformed an existing gravel playground into a safer and more dynamic public space through the use of recycled rubber flooring, prefabricated tiles, and outdoor fitness equipment. Community participation was essential in shaping the design, preserving key elements such as recreational circuits, meeting spaces, and exercise areas. To improve construction efficiency and reduce material waste, the final proposal adopted an orthogonal layout that optimized the use of modular tiles and simplified the building process.
